Crossroads Capital Management Ltd has signed a fund management agreement with BCP Asset Management, one of Ireland’s largest independently owned Investment Product Providers.

Crossroads Capital Management Ltd will operate as AIFM to the Kells ICAV, whose two sub-funds, Kells Investment I and Kells Investment II, have invested in excess of €100m in acquiring buildings on Dawson Street and Nassau Street amongst the capital's prime retail locations. The ICAV structure will allow Crossroads Capital Management and BCP Asset Management to create additional funds for distribution in the future.

The purpose of Kells Investment I and Kells Investment II is to;

  • Achieve current income and capital appreciation, specifically by purchasing, redeveloping, improving and selling the properties.
  • Maximise returns on its investment through financial management and maximisation of the physical real estate previously mentioned.

BCP manages over EUR 2 billion in assets under management and has worked with over 30,000 investors since its establishment. BCP continues to search for and invest in attractive opportunities in the commercial and retail sectors. For the Kells ICAV, BCP sought an independent partner with a presence in Ireland, capable of offering international class service and decided to choose Crossroads Capital Management.

Adrian Missen, Portfolio Manager for BCP Asset Management stated 'We selected Crossroads Capital Management for a variety of reasons including their client-focused approach, their fund-management and operational expertise, and their ability to help us expand our fund distribution across Europe".

Donnacha Loughrey, Managing Director for Crossroads Capital Management, said “We are delighted to be working with a leading fund-manager like BCP to enable these fund launches and be part of their wider growth story. The team and infrastructure within Crossroads will provide a robust support framework for these funds into the future, meeting their ongoing needs under AIFMD".
